PM's Youngest Son Wins World-Class Math Gold Medal

Phnom Penh: The youngest son of  Prime Minister Hun Manet, Hun Pich Monirithsith, received the World No. 1 Certificate and Gold Medal in Mathematics in the CARIBOU MATHEMATICS CONTEST among 2,358 participants from Different countries in the world.

The Ministry of Education also organized a ceremony to award certificates and gold medals to Hun Pech Monirithsith on the afternoon of December 16, 2023.

President of the Community of Cambodian Mathematicians, Mr. Chan Rath, said that in the international online math exam CARIBOU MATHEMATICS CONTESTS 2023, 1985 Cambodian students participated in the exam, resulting in 11 kindergarten and first grade students and 9 second grade  students ranked No. 1 in the world out of 26 countries that participated in the exam.

The President of the Cambodian People's Party and the President of Supreme Privy Council to the King, Hun Sen, wrote on the his social network that as a grandfather, he expressed his happiness and that this is a real property that he distributed to his grandchildren.
